When you produce your own items, you can define everything the way you want it: quality, design and working conditions. This is how things are at Maximo. Here in Chemnitz, more than 120 employees design, knit, sew, label, pack and dispatch our products. This makes us one of the last textile companies producing children’s fashion and children’s accessories in Germany. At Maximo, passion meets excellent workmanship.

Our “locational advantage in Germany” is reflected in local value added, high quality and honest working conditions. We convince our trading partners with reliable deliveries and swift response times. Where there is large demand for an article, we can boost our production at short notice.

We buy most of our wool, yarns and fabrics from Germany and Europe. We maintain long-term trade relations with our suppliers and make sure that our quality standards are met. Our firm is eco-certified, and our products are certified as being free of harmful substances (Öko-Tex Standard 100 – for babies and toddlers, mainly in Class 1, process certification according to ISO 9001). As a family company, Maximo guarantees the outstanding quality of our products.

As we cannot produce everything here in Chemnitz, we work with selected, long-standing partners in Europe and Asia. We do this with a clear conscience because the partners of Maximo meet the same requirements for good production conditions and the highest quality criteria we apply ourselves. 

With regular site visits and random sampling, we ensure that our standards are met. We are committed to observing the textile industry’s Code of Conduct. We can guarantee that every individual item by Maximo is a high-class product of quality and fairness.
