Our mission

We believe our most important task is to make families happy day in and day out with attractive, unique products by maximo. We do this by offering customers uncompromisingly, good quality at a fair price from our own production facility in Germany or from our high-quality partners.

Present and future

Maximo can look back on a turbulent history spanning over 100 years. Today, we are one of the last textile firms to produce fashion accessories for babies, children and teens in Germany. At our Chemnitz site, more than 120 employees design, knit, sew, pack and dispatch our products. As a family business with long-standing employees, we treat one another with respect. Our recipe for success remains unchanged: fair behavior towards everyone involved, production in Germany ensuring the best possible quality, fair prices, qualified, responsible specialists and a value-added primarily in Germany and Europe.

The highest asset we have is the health and vitality of children. In particular, babies and toddlers need to be protected from harmful substances. Which is why all our products are certified as meeting the Oeko-Tex Standard 100. For babies and toddlers, we strive to ensure all products meet the highest standard of Class 1.

We are reliable partners for our distributors. We offer excellent service for the retail trade and safe, punctual deliveries. Our reorder system makes it convenient and quick to make repeat orders. With the EDI facility, distributors can access all the key data for our products in no time at all.

At every step of production and distribution, we take care to achieve the very highest quality standards, as proven by our receiving process certification in line with ISO 9001.
